Motorola on Tuesday launched its two new budget smartphone variants, the Moto e5 and the Moto e5 Plus, in New Delhi. The phones are priced at ₹ 9999 and ₹ 11,999 respectively.
The e5 comes with 5.7 inch HD display with 18:9 Max Vision. The e5 Plus comes with the same display ratio but with a bigger screen at 6 inches.
Lenovo-owned Motorola highlighted one of the standout features of the e5 Plus — the 5000 mAh battery that can go up to a day-and-a-half on a single charge, making it a “perfect device for binge watching”. Both variants come with a 10 Watt rapid charger.
The e5 Plus comes with a 12 MP camera with laser autofocus. This helps capture sharp pictures in low light and is particularly useful in taking snaps on the move without blurring.
On the design side, the e5 Plus comes with a 3D Polymer Glass with a reflective wave pattern and an arched back for better grip. The phone has expandable storage, with a dedicated micro SD card slot. With the Moto Display feature, it’s possible to see notifications on the lock screen.
