Logitech Pebble M350 Mouse Review

Reviews

The Logitech Pebble Wireless Mouse M350 is a small and light mouse with a sleek design with a minimalist look. This modern wireless mouse operates quietly, is highly portable and can be slid into your pocket – you would not feel any weight. Without further ado, let us delve into the review.

Design and Hardware – Logitech Pebble M350 Mouse Review

The Logitech Pebble Wireless Mouse M350 is 26.5mm high, 59mm wide and 107mm deep. With the battery, it only weighs 100g. The nano receiver is 14.4mm by 18.7mm by 6.1 mm and weighs 1.8g.

The Logitech Pebble Wireless Mouse M350 looks small and feels light but by no means is it a fragile piece of hardware. The sides are rounded, and the top is flat, so gripping it and using it for long hours is not tiresome.

The design is ergonomic and fits into your palm comfortably. As the mouse is slim and sleek, if you have mighty big hands, you are better off with something larger. For the rest of us, the hold is pretty standard. While it has a plastic body, the Logitech M350 looks and feels premium.
Unlike most mice out there, the battery compartment is not at the bottom, instead, it can be accessed by gently raising the top portion of the Logitech M350 which is held together by 3 tiny magnets. While this is nifty, we would like to see how it would hold up with time.

Like its siblings, there are three buttons, a mechanical roller wheel with a middle button and support for unifying.

The rotary wheel is robust and made of a soft rubbery material and feels gentle against the finger. There’s the traditional feel of an optical mouse about it. The wheel is not touch sensitive and hence can only scroll in Top-Bottom direction.

Software – Logitech Pebble M350 Mouse Review

The mouse is compatible with Windows 7 and later versions, macOS X 10.10 and higher, Chrome OS, Linux Kernel 2.6+ and Android 5.0 or subsequent versions. Quite simply it is a universal mouse and can be used over any OS and on any device, there is no need to install any drivers, the mouse works in a simple plus and play manner.

Connectivity – Logitech Pebble M350 Mouse Review

The Logitech M350 comes with dual connectivity options of Bluetooth and a traditional receiver. Hence one can connect the mouse simultaneously to two devices.

We tested the Logitech M350’s connectivity with multiple laptops and tablets over both connectivity options and faces no issues at all.

Battery – Logitech Pebble M350 Mouse Review

While most mice its size utilise 2x AA batteries, the Logitech M350 makes use of just one. With the short time that we had with the mouse we did not have any battery woes as the batteries in a mouse can easily last a few months. Logitech claims the battery can last upto 18 months.

Performance – Logitech Pebble M350 Mouse Review

The Pebble uses high precision optical tracking sensor technology with a sensor resolution of 1000dpi. Quite frankly the M350 is one of the highest precision mice we have used.

While 1000dpi is standard to many, the Pebble felt great on all surfaces, mousepad, wood, fabric or even metal.
